Terms and Conditions for the Black Excellence UK Parliament Tour

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in the Black Excellence UK Parliament Tour scheduled for 8th May 2024. By registering for the tour, participants (referred to as “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as outlined by Black Excellence UK (referred to as “we” or “us”).

Registration and Payment

1. Booking: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to 17 participants. Completing the registration form does not guarantee a spot on the tour. Spots are confirmed only after Friday the 19th of April 2024.
2. Notification: All participants who have been selected for the tour will be notified via email with instructions on how to proceed with the payment. Please ensure your email address is entered correctly on the registration form.
3. Payment: A fee of £10.00 is required to secure a booking once you have been selected. This fee covers transportation and parking costs. Payment instructions will be provided with the selection notification email. This applies only to those who intend to travel with us on our pre-arranged van.
4. Confirmation: Your spot on the tour is confirmed after the deadline and you will receive a confirmation email as proof of your booking.

Cancellations and Refunds

1. By Participant: If you cancel your booking, please inform us as soon as possible. The £10.00 fee is refundable up to 7 days before the tour date.
2. By Us: We reserve the right to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such an event, a full refund will be issued.

Transportation

1. Participants are required to meet at the designated departure point in Loughborough at 4:45 AM.
2. We are not responsible for personal transportation to or from the departure point.

Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly during the tour. We reserve the right to remove any participant from the tour for disruptive or disrespectful behaviour.

Liability

We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur during the tour, except where it is caused by our negligence.

Photography and Media

1. We may take photographs or recordings during the tour for promotional purposes.
2. By participating in the tour, you consent to the use of such media by us.

Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of organizing the tour and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes.

Acceptance of Terms

By completing the registration and payment process, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
